Garden State Parkway: Exit 137NJ Rt. 28, Cranford & Elizabeth exit. Turn left at the light and go four lights (three lights if coming from South on Parkway). Turn right at light (McDonald's on corner), and go to first light after the underpass. Turn left at light on to 1st Avenue. Go one light and turn right on to Chestnut Street. Travel down seven blocks to 8th Avenue and turn left (Firehouse and tennis courts are your landmarks.) Go to the end of 8th Avenue (deadend street), church is on the right.NJ Turnpike South bound: Exit 13Follow sign 1&9 north to Elizabeth. Keep straight on Bayway for approx. four traffic lights then follow sign to 1&9 south. Make left on 1&9 south Go four traffic lights and make a right onto Park Ave (at Exxon). At 3rd light make a left onto St George Ave. At 4th light make a right on Chandler Ave. Make a left onto 9th Ave. Make a right into the rear parking lot of the church. If you pass Spruce St, you went too far.NJ Turnpike North bound: Exit 11Take Garden State Parkway North to Exit 137 and follow Parkway directions above. |
